The R1 Deadlock tournament series is not slowing down after its first finals. Tournament organizers confirmed this week that Season 2 of the R1 Tourney circuit will officially begin on June 23, with another round of competition set to continue the growing CIS Deadlock scene.
In a post shared to the tournament’s Telegram channel, organizers said the broadcast and news hub will remain active between events with continued Deadlock esports coverage and updates. They also encouraged teams that missed the May qualifiers to begin preparing for the next round, noting there is still over a month left before competition resumes.
The announcement comes shortly after the conclusion of the first R1 event, which helped establish the tournament as one of the more active independent Deadlock competitions currently running in the region. With Season 2 already scheduled and organizers signaling long term plans, the series appears positioned to remain a regular fixture on the Deadlock calendar through the summer.
